Operation Instructions
Initial Setup
1. Load Dishes: Remove large food debris; load dishes according to rack guide. Sharp utensils should face downward.
2. Add Detergent: Fill the dispenser with fresh dishwasher detergent suitable for automatic machines.
3. Add Rinse Aid: Check indicator and fill as needed to improve drying performance.
4. Run Hot Water: Let water run at the sink until hot before starting the cycle.
5. Check Filters and Arms: Ensure spray arms rotate freely and filters are clean.
6. First Use: Run an empty Normal cycle with detergent to clean the system.
Operating the Dishwasher
1. Select Cycle: Choose among Power Plus, Normal, Energy Saver, or Top Rack.
2. Select Options: Add features such as Hi-Temp Wash or Sanitize.
3. Delay Start: Press to delay operation up to 24 hours.
4. Start: Close the door firmly and press Start. Cycle begins automatically.
5. Pause/Resume: Open door to pause, close to resume.
6. Cancel: Hold Start for 3 seconds to cancel and drain.
Note: Steam release during drying is normal. Dishes may be hot after sanitize mode.
Care and Cleaning
1. Filters: Rinse the bottom filter under warm water monthly.
2. Spray Arms: Remove and clean holes to prevent blockages.
3. Interior: Wipe stainless surfaces with mild detergent; avoid abrasives.
4. Vinegar Clean: Place 2 cups of white vinegar in the lower rack and run a Normal cycle monthly.
5. Exterior: Use soft cloth with stainless cleaner; avoid harsh chemicals.
Tip: Keep rinse aid filled for spotless, streak-free drying.
Troubleshooting
- Dishwasher won’t start: Check breaker, latch, and power connection.
- Water not draining: Inspect hose, air gap, and filter for clogs.
- Poor cleaning results: Ensure water is hot enough and spray arms are not blocked.
- White film on dishes: Add rinse aid or adjust detergent for hard water.
- Dishwasher leaking: Verify leveling and door seal condition.
- Display shows “UO” or “i20”: Indicates vent or drain error; contact service.
- Noise: Light humming or water movement is normal operation.
Installation Instructions
Warning: Turn off electrical and water supply before installation. Follow all local plumbing and electrical codes.
Remove Old Dishwasher
- Disconnect power at breaker and shut off water supply.
- Detach drain hose, water line, and electrical wiring.
- Remove mounting screws and slide the old unit out carefully.
- Cap electrical and water lines temporarily to prevent leaks.
Installing New Dishwasher
- Prepare Opening: Standard 24" wide space required.
