Manual Drain System

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe wrench
  • Bucket or pan

Step-by-Step Manual Drain Procedure

  1. Power Off: Turn off power to the dishwasher at the circuit breaker to ensure safety.
  2. Access Drain System: Remove the lower access panel from the front of the dishwasher.
  3. Locate Drain Hose: Identify the drain hose connected to the pump assembly.
  4. Prepare for Drainage: Place a shallow pan or bucket under the drain hose connection point.
  5. Disconnect Drain Hose: Carefully loosen the clamp and disconnect the drain hose from the pump.
  6. Drain Water: Allow water to drain completely into the bucket. Tilt the hose to ensure complete drainage.
  7. Reconnect Hose: Reconnect the drain hose securely and tighten the clamp.
  8. Test Operation: Restore power and run a quick rinse cycle to verify proper drainage.
