Safety and Preparation
- Warnings: Read all instructions before starting. Disconnect power and water supply. Wear gloves and safety glasses. The dishwasher must be fully enclosed and not support the enclosure. Opening the door will cause tipping; hold securely.
- Notes: Leave instructions for consumer and inspector. Skill level: Basic mechanical/electrical. Product failure due to improper installation not covered under warranty.
- Before Beginning: Ensure cabinet is square and plumb. Drill smooth holes with no sharp edges; cover metal edges with bushings.
Tools and Parts
- Tools: Phillips screwdriver, 5/16" and 1/4" nutdriver, 6" adjustable wrench, level, carpenter's square, measuring tape, safety glasses, flashlight, bucket, gloves. For new installs: Tubing cutter, drill, bits, hole saw set.
- Parts Supplied: Two #8 Phillips flat head wood screws (5/8” long), two color-matched toekick screws.
- Materials Needed: Ferrule, compression nut, 90° elbow (3/8” NPT), thread seal tape, UL wire nuts (3), air gap (if required), waste tee, electrical cable/power cord (if applicable), hose clamps, strain relief, shut-off valve, 3/8” copper water line, coupler for drain extension.

- Rough Cabinet Opening: 24” deep min., 17-5/8” to 18” wide, 32.5” max. height.
- Clearances: 2” min. in corners; 25-5/8” min. from front for door opening. ADA: Adjust toekick/legs for 32-1/2” height under 34” countertop.
- Drain: Max 10 ft length; air gap if <18” above floor or code required; 32” min. high loop.
- Electrical: 120V, 60Hz, 15-20A dedicated grounded circuit; 2-wire with ground.
- Water Supply: 20-120 PSI, 120°F-150°F, 3/8” O.D. copper min.

Drain Preparation
- Install waste tee/disposer and air gap per manufacturer.
- Use air gap if connection <18” above floor or code requires. High loop 32” min. if no air gap.
- Drill 1-1/2” hole in cabinet for drain hose.
- Figure C (Method 1 - Air Gap): Air gap with waste tee/disposer (18” min.).
- Figure D (Method 2 - High Drain): 32” min. loop with waste tee/disposer, fasten to countertop.
Electrical Preparation
- 120V/15A dedicated circuit protected by 15-20A breaker/fuse.
- Cable direct: Route through 1-1/2” hole, min 24” from rear wall.
- Power cord: Install 3-prong grounded receptacle in cabinet/wall.
- Figure E (Wire Routing): 1-1/2” hole, white/ground/black wires, 24” from wall, 3” from cabinet.
- Grounding: Connect to grounded metal system or equipment grounding conductor.
- Warning: Remove fuse/open breaker before starting. No extension cords/adapters.
Water Supply Preparation
- Route 3/8” O.D. copper line through 1-1/2” hole, extend 18” from rear.
- Install shut-off valve (recommended).
- Flush line to clear debris; adjust water heater to 120°F-150°F.
- Figure F (Hot Water Line): Entry from side/rear/floor, 1-1/2” hole, 18” from wall, 3” from floor, 4” from cabinet, shut-off valve.
- Caution: Hold dishwasher when opening door to prevent tipping.
- Check door balance: Adjust springs if door drops/closes unexpectedly (Figure G).
Step-by-Step Installation
- Check Door Balance: Hold top, open door slowly. Adjust spring tension if needed (Figure G).
- Adjust Leveling Legs: Lay dishwasher on back; extend legs 1/4" less than install height.
- Remove Toekick: Remove 4 screws; lift off 2-piece toekick (Figures J/L).
- Install 90° Elbow: Wrap with thread seal tape; install on water valve (do not over-tighten) (Figure H).
- Position Lines: Place water line/house wiring on floor to avoid interference (Figure M).
- Insert Drain Hose: Through cabinet hole; guide power cord separately if used (Figure N/O).
- Slide Dishwasher In: A few inches at a time; do not push front panel (Figure O).
- Position Under Countertop: Front corners flush with cabinet doors (Figure P).
- Level Dishwasher: Use level on door/rack track side-to-side and front-to-back; adjust legs (Figure Q).
- Check Rack: Pull lower rack halfway; ensure it rolls freely (Figure R).
- Secure Dishwasher: Method 1: 2 screws to countertop underside (Figure S-1). Method 2: Remove plug buttons, screw through side brackets to cabinet, reinstall buttons (Figure S-2/T).
- Connect Water Supply: Slide nut/ferrule over line, insert into elbow, tighten (Figure U).
- Drain Line Connection: Cut hose to fit; clamp securely; use coupler if extending (max 10 ft total) (Figures V/W/X).
- Replace Toekick: Align inner piece slots with brackets; outer over it; install 4 screws (use top 4 for heights >33-1/2") (Figure Y).
- Final Check: Verify level, door balance, no leaks; run cycle.
