Operation Instructions
Initial Setup
1. Load Dishes: Scrape large food particles; load upper/lower racks and silverware basket properly, avoiding nesting; place sharp items handles up.
2. Add Detergent: Use automatic dispenser; fresh powder, liquid, or gel based on soil level and water hardness.
3. Add Rinse Aid: Fill dispenser (indicator shows low); adjust for drying and spotting.
4. Run Hot Water: At sink until hot (120°F+), then close.
5. Select Cycle: Use control panel; confirm with lights.
6. First Use: Run empty Normal cycle with detergent.
Operating the Dishwasher
1. Select Cycle: Press for Power Plus, Normal Wash Top Rack, Energy Saver, or Favorite.
2. Select Options: Heat Dry (for better drying), Air Dry, Hi-Temp Wash, Sanitize, Delay Start.
3. Control Lock: Hold Start for 3 seconds to lock.
4. Start: Close door; press Start. Fills, washes, rinses, dries; DishSense® adjusts time.
5. Interrupt: Open door to pause; close to resume.
6. Cancel: Hold Start for 3 seconds to drain and reset.
Note: Status lights off when door closed; vapor at vent normal. Contents hot after Sanitize.
Care and Cleaning
1. Filter: Self-cleaning; clean glass trap monthly: remove, rinse under water.
2. Spray Arms: Check and clear clogs monthly.
3. Exterior/Interior: Wipe with mild soap; no abrasives; allow heating element to cool.
4. Monthly Clean: 2 cups white vinegar in bottom rack, run Normal (no detergent).
5. Rinse Aid: Refill as needed; adjust setting.
Note: Clean drain air gap if installed; winterize in cold areas.
Troubleshooting
- Won't Start: Check power, door latch, cycle selected; reset breaker.
- No Lights: Normal with door closed; open to view.
- Poor Drainage: Clean filter, air gap; check hose kinks.
- Soils Remain: Use hot water; right cycle/detergent; check loading.
- Spotting/Etching: Adjust detergent for water hardness; use rinse aid; vinegar clean.
- Poor Drying: Select Heat Dry; use rinse aid; tilt cups.
- Leaking: Level unit; check door seal.

Remove Old Dishwasher
